Special Christmas menu with a large glass of fizz ( only available for parties up to 6 people)

Available Saturday  3rd, 10th and 17th December

Starters

Butternut ,Carrot and coriander soup served with artisan bread

Baked mushrooms in a stilton sauce, salad garnish and crusty bread for dipping

French goats cheese on a bed of dressed salad leaves with heritage beetroots, crushed pecans and sprinkled with honeycomb shavings

Duo of fish smoked salmon and prawns with Marie rose sauce salad garnish bread triangles

 

Mains

Roast Cheshire turkey with pigs in blankets, sage stuffing, and roast gravy

Roast Scottish topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding and gravy

Braised pork belly in a cider apple sauce topped with black pudding served with a creamy mash

Pan fried fillet of sea bass in a lemon butter sauce topped with flaked almonds

Mushroom stroganoff with steamed rice

All served with seasonal vegetables

 

Desserts

 

Bailey’s cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce

Traditional Christmas pudding with a white rum sauce

Cheese and biscuits with spicy chutney, grapes and celery

Warm chocolate brownie topped with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce

Sundried Spanish tomato soup, wild garlic & pesto, finished with a swirl of crème fraiche, artisan bread

Poached and smoked salmon mousse, pickled cucumber, soda brown bread, lemon

Pressed ham hock terrine, Bramley apple chutney rock and orange salad with a honey and mustard dressing, toasted bread

French goats cheese on a bed of dressed salad leaves with heritage beetroots, crushed pecans and sprinkled with honeycomb shavings

Mains

Roasted Cheshire turkey with chestnut and thyme stuffing, bacon wrapped chipolata all the trimmings

Pan fried rib eye steak (cooked med ) flamed with brandy, peppercorns and cream

Baked fillet of sea bass wrapped in Parma ham with a wild mushroom, shallot and white wine sauce

Shallot, chestnut and thyme tarte tatin, sage, onion and cranberry stuffing, honey roasted parsnips

Served with winter vegetables, roast potatoes and buttered parsley new potatoes

Homemade Christmas pudding with vanilla ice cream and rum sauce

Vanilla cheesecake with passion fruit finished with a mango coulis

Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla custard
